Shri R.K.Singh, Chief Engineer (Training), AIR & DD, New
Delhi and Shri Rukmin Wijemanne, Head of Studio Technology and Training, Asia Pacific Broadcasting Union, Malaysia, visited RSTIT on 24th and 25th of Feb.2005.

Shri R.R .Prasad, the then Chief Engineer (East Zone), Kolkata inaugurated training programmme calendar for the year 2005 and Hard Disk based recording training course on 10th January, 2005.

During 2005, RSTIT Conducted four special courses on Hard Disk Based Recording including Sonifex Recorder during the period from January to March 2005 under crash plan for the Engineering and Programme personnel from AIR.
A
total of 92 staff have been trained, Out of which 52 were from the Programme wing and 40 from Engineering Wing.
